Breathing Exercises for Stress Relief

1. The square breathing technique. Exhale your breath for 4 seconds. Hold your breath for 4 seconds. Inhale your breath for 4 seconds. Hold your breath for 4 seconds.

2. The 4-2-4 breathing technique. Take a slow breath in through the nose, breathing into your lower belly for 4 seconds. Hold your breath for 2 seconds. Exhale slowly through the mouth for 4 seconds.

3. The 4-6 breathing technique. Breathe in for 4 seconds. Breathe out for 6 seconds.
