Dr. Dotson practiced colon and rectal surgery in Greenville, MS. She is a native of Monroeville, Alabama and received her medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. She completed a residency in general surgery at Boston University and a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at the Colon and Rectal Clinic/University of TX in Houston. Dr. Dotson received her MPH in healthcare organization and policy and her MBA from the University of Alabama Birmingham.

Dr. Dotson is board certified in general and colon and rectal surgery and is very active in the Mississippi State Medical Association. She is a member of the AMA, and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She also serves on the advisory board of the Office of Mississippi Physician Workforce. She resides in Greenville, MS with her husband. They have two children.
